Content on Wikipedia is released under the GNU Free Documentation License. If possible, the license for this snippet should be updated. I'd do it myself, but it doesn't look like it is editable.

Correct, please make sure you post code under the correct license, even for obviously public domain stuff like a Hello World.

Although it would probably be better if you can track down a Hello World under a licenses that isn't as horrifically restricting as the GFD.

Ah, but only owners can edit the license :) You don't want someone random 'Public Domaining' your GPL code.
